North East Oklahoma Livestock Association

We are a group of farmers and ranchers in an 8 county area of Northeastern Oklahoma. We formed this group in June 2003 with 10 original families partnering with Langston University and Heifer International.

After submitting and receiving a three year grant from Heifer, our members have received education and training through various organizations.

This has allowed us to increase our knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices. As we implement the things we have learned we are now ready to teach, mentor and pass on the gift to new members giving them the same opportunities given to us.

Our Mission Statement

Through education, mentoring and passing on the gift of livestock and knowledge to families in our communities, we believe we can have a positive impact on both our members and our communities. In turn, we hope this will help put more small farmers and ranchers back in our communities in Northeastern Oklahoma.
